As a bass player, Alex has had the privilege of performing with various Sydney acts, including Modus Fire, Genie Baby, and Pinky Ring. Beyond live performance, he also composes music for screen, spanning short films, documentaries, theater, and advertising.

A rising talent in screen composition, Alex won Best Soundtrack at the University of Sydney's Masters of the Screen awards in 2023 for his work on the short film "Object". This achievement underscores his dedication to crafting compelling, narrative-driven scores.

Drawing inspiration from innovative artists like Gotye, Peter Gabriel, and Björk, TALLON's music blends art rock, electronic, and folk elements to create a unique sonic tapestry. With a passion for storytelling and sonic experimentation, Alex aims to continue pushing the boundaries of sonic storytelling, collaborating with fellow creatives, and contributing to the vibrant Australian music and screen industries.

“TALLON are smooth, like velvet rubbing on ice. There’s a lot of very tricksy music that goes into these sorts of textures in order to make it this frictionless but, however the trick is pulled off, it goes down without touching the sides, leaving just a woozy effect behind, a happy buzz.”
